Milling machinery at Cricklepit Mill

Two of the heavy pairs of stone, between which flour would be ground, are visible. The toothed wheels were turned by the power of the water-wheel and drove the upper stone.

This equipment belonged to the 19th and 20th centuries, replacing earlier machinery of the same sort.
