Head Weir Mills

Back to Time Period
Head Weir Mills

The drawing by H. Courtney-Sellas shows the site around 1830, with Blackaller Weir on the left. By this time they had been converted from fulling mills and served as paper and grist (i.e. corn) mills. The site is now occupied by the Mill on the Exe pub.
