The hoard of coins found in St Thomas

These six Roman coins formed part of a find of 33 such coins, discovered six feet below the property of the Freehold Land Society in 1874. They bear the portrait of the emperor Constans, the youngest son of Constantine the Great. They are datable to AD 337-50. The other coins in the find were not donated to the museum; their whereabouts are unknown.
