A North Devon Plain Slipware dish

Most slip-decorated tablewares produced in North Devon were sgraffito-decorated, but a proportion consisted just of plain wares. This dish from a pit in Goldsmith Street illustrates the appearance of such vessels; it dates to c. 1670-1700.
