Miles Coverdale medal (reverse)

Miles Coverdale was a Protestant clergyman whose translation of the Bible into English was published in 1535. Subsequently, in 1551, he became Bishop of Exeter. In 1835 a series of medallions commemorating the first publication of his translation was struck. This shows the reverse with a book chained shut.
