Horse equipment

The heavy buckle of copper alloy and a pendant of tinned or silvered copper alloy, both found at Bartholomew Street in 1980-81, are both elements of the tackle used in horse-riding. It is believed that they indicate the presence of cavalry soldiers brigaded within the fortress.
