Looking out from Mols

Mols, No.1 Cathedral Close, was built late in Queen Elizabeth's reign, probably in 1596. Although much altered, it preserves this fine first-floor room, which illustrates the impressive ranges of windows which became popular in Elizabeth's reign, and also preserves much late 16th-century panelling.
