View of Cathedral Close

The view shows St Martin's Church, Nos 1-4 Cathedral Close and the Exeter Bank around 1830. The bank now forms part of the Clarence Hotel. No. 1 The Close is depicted prior to the building of its curving Dutch gable, visible nowadays.
