Tudor House, Exe Island

Back to Time Period
Tudor House, Exe Island

Tudor House has nothing to do with the Tudors and was built in 1660. Features typical of the period include the continuing use of timber fronts with oversailing storeys (but with thinner timbers than those of earlier generations) and the use of locally-made brick for the side walls.
