Quay House
Back to Time Period![Quay House](/includes/thumb/phpThumb.php?src=/images/objects/Golden-Age-Quay-House-Exeter.jpg&w=500)
Built with the Custom House in 1680-1, Quay House is a remarkable survival. It was designed with a long oversailing roof along its frontage. This protected cargoes which were unloaded from lighters in the narrow dock which originally ran from the river to the building's frontage.
