Back to Time Period![A Spanish beaker from Topsham](/includes/thumb/phpThumb.php?src=/images/objects/A_Spanish_beaker_from_Topsham_ca._Ad_50-75.jpg&w=500)
This small wheel-thrown beaker with rough-cast decoration is the most complete example known from South-West England of the quite rare slip-coated pottery imported from Spain by the Roman army. It dates to c. AD 50-75.
