A Roman coin found near Hazel Road (obverse)

This debased silver antoninianus of the emperor Probus (AD 276-82) was found in the allotment at Hazel Road, off Burnthouse Lane, in 1951. The obverse shows the imperial portrait, and on the reverse Concord and the emperor holding hands. The holes in it are recent.
